Insurance companies might require a captain to be aboard if you are buying or selling a yacht. We can provide a captain with inland or near-coastal credentials to meet your insurance requirements and any necessary delivery crew. We hold a Master, 25-ton self-propelled, sail, and auxiliary sail endorsement. 

Before embarking on a yacht delivery, we offer the owner a comprehensive consultation session to provide information about the delivery process, safety measures, and what to expect during the journey. This ensures transparency throughout the delivery.  We select the best delivery crew to match the vessel and the journey.

We feel it is crucial to employ highly skilled and experienced captains and crew members who are well-versed in yacht delivery, handling, navigation, and safety procedures. A competent delivery crew ensures the yacht is in capable hands throughout the journey. We will inspect the vessel from top to bottom before departure and arrive with the tools and ability to resolve most mechanical and electrical situations.

Should the owner/guests join on the transit, we provide onboard training and education during the voyage that will be valuable for future boating adventures.  This training can cover navigation, basic seamanship, emergency procedures, and yacht handling techniques, empowering owners to understand their vessels better and operate them safely. 

We have invested in modern navigation systems, communication equipment, and satellite tracking, which allow real-time monitoring of the yacht's progress and enable seamless communication between the delivery crew, owner, and support team ashore.

Following the completion of the delivery, we will conduct a thorough debriefing session with the owner and provide an opportunity to review the voyage, address any concerns or questions, and offer additional guidance or recommendations for ongoing yacht operation and maintenance.
